Job description
Wedo Group (Wedo, Shedo and Wedo Ventures) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated to manage and coordinate a variety of educational and consulting projects. This strategic role serves as the focal point for all projects, client relations, and business development activities within Federal Iraq. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution and high-quality delivery of projects from inception to completion, while also contributing to business growth and partnership development
Job Details:
- Reporting to: Head of business development
- Duration: Full time - 3 months’ probation period
- Location: Baghdad
- Working Hours/days: 8 hours per day, Sunday – Thursday
- Work Arrangement: office-based possibility to travel across Iraq
Responsibilities
1. Project Management:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Identify and engage suitable experts, consultants, and partners for project implementation.
- Manage financial and logistical components to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, address challenges, and apply corrective actions to stay on track.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyzes project data to guide decisions and improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports and documentation for management and stakeholders.
- Capture lessons learned and integrate best practices into future projects
2. Business Development and Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the main liaison for clients and partners, fostering strong professional relationships.
- Research, identify, and pursue new business and funding opportunities across key sectors.
- Develop project concepts and tailor proposals aligned with client or donor requirements.
- Prepare tenders, proposals, and presentations that reflect the organisations's expertise.
- Negotiate project terms, contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and networking events.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with private companies, government bodies, NGOs, and key stakeholders
3. Quality Assurance and Adminstrative Support
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality consulting and educational services across all projects.
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of project outcomes to assess performance and client satisfaction.
- Recommend and implement enhancements based on lessons learned, feedback, and best practices.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to maintain smooth workflows and effective communication.
- Provide operational and logistical support to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation both physical and digital for all project activities.
- Prepare and edit reports, meeting notes, and other official documents.
- Assist with scheduling, event coordination, and translation tasks when needed.
- Regularly update management on project progress, team support needs, and task completion
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales with strong strategic relationship-building skills.
- Ability to assess market trends, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Accurate and thorough in documentation, reporting, and compliance with project requirements.
- Flexible and responsive, able to adjust strategies and approaches based on client needs.
- Committed to staying current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
- Skilled in using business management tools, CRM systems, and digital solutions relevant to the consulting sector.
- Excellent networking and client relationship management abilities across diverse sectors.
- Experienced in negotiating and finalizing business agreements and contracts in English and Arabic
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for presenting complex ideas clearly.
- Dedicated to understanding client needs and delivering high-quality, tailored solutions.
- Skilled at identifying challenges, exploring creative options, and implementing effective solutions.
